Brodin Ghost Cutthroat - Nets | Large

Description of the Brodin Ghost Cutthroat - Nets:

This is our new state of the art net bag. It is injection molded from pvc and is clear in color. As you can see, when the net bag is put into water, it becomes translucent and is less likely to spook fish. This net bag is proprietary to us and we have worked hard to develop one that is light in weight. You will find this net a pleasure to use on the stream. Flies, even when fished in tandem will not get stuck in the net. They will also stand out against the clear color so that you can extract them quickly and get back to fishing. We have chosen teak for the handle (there are no options) because of its relatively light weight and durability in water.

Specs :
• 22" Overall length
• 10" by 15" Opening
• Teak handle, four ply bow
• Extra re-enforcing strip on the inside of the bow at the yoke
• Rubber bags when placed in swift currents produce extra stress on a wood frame and this extra strip will ensure the integrity of the net

• Brodin products are backed by a Brodin Warranty

RiverBum is great place to order from!

Pros: I have ordered quite a few items from RiverBum over the past few months and have always received my items earlier than the expected date. I will continue to order from RiverBum. The service is good and the flies are priced right for a pretty well tied fly. Also you can't beat the free shipping after fifty bucks.
Cons: They don't carry St Criox fly rods.
Other Thoughts: Keep up the good work! Oh, out of 15 orders or so they have all been accurately shipped.

Pros: Flies do not get caught in this net when they come out of mouth of fish. Very easy to get at the fish in the net. Overall a very good net.
Cons: Its a bit heavier than other nets because the plastic webbing is heavier than traditional nets. Not sure the fish does not see the net when submerged. Its definitely better but they still spook when they see it.

Pros: I've been wanting to drop the bill for this net for about a year now, finally made the plunge and I got e everything I expected. Light weight, well made, and beautifully made.
Cons: A little on the pricey side.
Other Thoughts: don't let the cost turn you off to this net, you get what you pay for with this one. Worth every penny.

Pros: I love this the Brodin Ghost Cutthroat net. I really does disappear in the water and hooks do not get caught in it. Even droppers. It also is the only Brodin that fits into my carry-on bag when traveling. I needed another net because my sons were going on a fishing trip with me and RiverBum had it delivered it to me in Wyoming just in time. My old one has lasted well over 25 years, and I'm sure this one will too. So the price is relative and you do get what you pay for - this is a high quality, well made item. It definitely will hold large fish. I had the good fortune to net several 24"+ browns with no problem.
Cons: Its a pretty wide net and catches water in a heavy current, but not sure any more than another net. The price seems high initially, but again, this thing will likely get passed onto my kids - hopefully a long, long time from now.
Other Thoughts: Can't say enough about the great RiverBum service. These guys have gone above and beyond for me on several occasions.

Pros: I love the Brodin Ghost Cutthroat net. I flyfish with multiple flies at one time and they never get caught in the net. The net holes are large enough that lures don't get caught, yet small enough that small fish don't fall thru the net. The net is well built and lightweight. I will never fish without my Brodin net again.

Pros: This is a great net, both in looks and in function. I replaced a net with a smaller hoop and a deeper basket with this Brodin Ghost net. It makes it so much easier to net the fish and, as importantly, it makes it much easier to release them quickly and safely without getting my flies snagged in the netting. I usually fish a 3 nymph inline rig, and with the old net I would always have to take time to get my flies unhooked from the netting. I tended not to use my old net as much as I should have. With this net I net every fish. I no longer have to think about whether
Cons: None that I have.

Pros: This net is worth every penny! I was pretty hesitant to spend a hundred dollars on a net but now that I have it I realize the reason for the price. The craftsmanship is beautiful, its easy to use and release fish quickly while barely touching them. I never thought I would be this excited about a net.
Cons: None
