Description of the Tan Clouser Crayfish - Fly:

Fly fishing for hard fighting smallies is gaining in popularity. Crayfish are important bass flies especially in rocky shoreline areas. Try this realistic Tan Clouser Crayfish Fly on your favorite smallmouth or large mouth waters. Try fishing this fly deep with a quick two or three strip jigging action and then allowing it to settle back to the bottom. Be ready for it to be inhaled on the fall and hang on.

Pros: Well made fly!! I used the size 10 fly in the Santa Fe river near Fort White, FL. As a test I kept the fly on and used it for 5 days. It started fraying on the fourth day after catching seven scrappy fish. I will be ordering more!

Pros: I purchased this "bug" for a trip to the Santa Fe river area near Fort White, FL. Well I got the itch and tried this fly rigged with a strike indicator as described in American Angler Magazine. IT WORKED! As the bug fell, the bluegills hit it.
Cons: none

Pros: The Clouser Tan Crayfish is awesome. I have successfully tricked pan fish and bass into grabbing this great fly!! They strike at it very soon after it sinks.
Cons: I have no cons this fly.
