Pros: Flat black finish. Cheap. |

Cons: Poorly quality.
Cutting jaws don't match up.
Hook eye clearing point was bent (can be straightened, but indicative of poor quality). |

Other Thoughts: Even though these nippers are inexpensive, I expected them to be well made, based upon what I had heard about Dr. Slick tools. When I received them I couldn't believe they are Dr. Slick nippers. There's no marking on them, but there isn't in the website picture, either, so I don't have any other reason to believe they aren't Dr. Slick brand. I lost my old made-in-Pakistan "bargain bin" nippers and thought I had found a deal on a new, better pair, but I wouldn't buy these again. I'd rather pay a few more dollars and get a tool that functions well. Luckily, it's only a few bucks down the drain; not even enough to bother returning for refund. |
