There are certain flies that are tied to match a hatch and then there are those that just look tasty to hungry trout. These attractor dry flies would fall into that second category. Often called prospecting flies, these fly patterns excel in situations where you don't know what fly to try or when fish seem to just want to eat something buggy looking.
