Pros: I was looking for a small, light weight non-metal fly box that was easy to grip with one hand, would hold a lot of bloodworms and other nymphs, and would allow me to easily separate my days flies by size and type while allowing easy access and ease of operation, ie: able to open and close with one hand without dropping it . This box definitely filled all my requirements. I packed 80 bugs in it neatly and had room for more.
But... I still managed to drop it. It landed in the water openface sandwich style and none of the flies spilled or even got prematuerly wet.
It fits a small pocket, is lightweight and under most circumstances is drop-proof. |

Cons: This box was everything I wanted for this particular time and hotspot. No complaints |

Other Thoughts: A large velcro patch allowed me to attach it to a breastpocket for fast access but I think an elastic strap allowing me to carry it securely on my left forearm would make it the ultimate flybox. |
