Pros: Well tied, with densely packed deer hair. This fly has survived numerous encounters with Large mouths and chunky pickerel, and is still in excellent fishable condition. My clients have had good success fishing this pattern VERY slowly, with occasional twitches. Using a WF sink tip has been productive. Apply a small amount of floatant (Gink/Aquel/etc.) to the top of the deerhair head before you begin fishing...
