Description of the Frogs Fanny Dry Fly Powder - Accessories:

FROG'S FANNY Powder Dry Fly Floatant is a must have, this will recondition a soaked or slime covered dry fly like it was new. It comes with a fine brush attached to the lid which allows precision application. Brush this on the wing of any tent winged fly like a stimulator, and you will never have problems with your fly floating on its side again. Because you apply FROG'S FANNY with a brush, you wont damage delicate dry fly wings while applying. CDC flies come back to life when you use this powder on them.

  • Try coating nymphs with FROG'S FANNY to give a realistic gas bubble effect on them.
  • FROG'S FANNY works as a refill for other powder/desiccant floatants like Shimazaki.

Pros: Works great in all conditions we have tried. We drift fish the Yakima River in Washington and have used Frog's Fanny exclusively for 3 years now.
Cons: Availability, but River Bum has solved that problem for us. Their customer service is super!

Pros: The Frogs Fanny Dry Fly Powder is the best dry fly floatant that I have ever used. After I put it on initially, I can normally fish for quite some time before I have to reapply it.
Cons: I have not seen any cons associated with this product.
Other Thoughts: I look forward to using it some more this Fall.
