Pros: I've been fishing for bass, and pike, and even though I haven't yet latched onto a pike, I have caught several bass. I find that the gummy minnow, when I work it right, just stops and sort of dares the fish to hit. My bass all have been caught when the fly is sitting still. I try to keep it towards the lake bottom. I think the similarity to a minnow is great. |

Cons: I really can't think of anything I don't like about this fly...just that I haven't caught a pike yet, but I think it may be ME, more than the fly. I will be trying a more steady stripping method for pike in the spring. |

Other Thoughts: This was among my first ever purchases from Riverbum, but I assure that I will be purchasing more items in the spring. |
