Pros: Don't leave home without some. For high mountain trout and fish feeding on a range of terrestrials, this is the bug. This bug is supposed to imitate a mayfly, which it does, but I’ve also found it to be really effective during ant hatches and in high winds; I think it matches a range of small terrestrials and is really visible. |

Cons: It sometimes soaks up water after a fish or two, which isn’t that unusual, so just keep a few with you and switch them out as necessary. |

Other Thoughts: I love the fly in yellow too. It's a great bug and fishes well in lakes as well as moving water. |
