Pros: I have fished float tube for several years now, my old boat was a u-boat style craft. I also have a 9" pontoon boat with trolling motor, depth finder, etc. I have found my purchase of the Fish Cat 4 Deluxe from River Bum to be the best of all the watercraft I own. It's manuverability is the best and easiest of all. I was concerned before the purchase about the manuverabilty, ease and being able to propel the tube with only below the knees in the water. It has exceeded all my expectations, even in the wind. This moves across the water so easily and no doubt it is because of the lack of resistance of having your body, below the waist immersed. Is is easily turned once you have a few trips worth of experience. THis is like fishing from your lazy boy recliner. I also like the deluxe model for the inflatable seats. I can't vouch for it vs the foam, but I wouldn't switch. |

Cons: I have 2 cons. It would be a great accessory to have a rear view mirror as part of the boat...................... also if there was room to mount my Fishing Buddy fish finder on either side. There is little room fore or aft of the built in storage area on the pontoon. The only option I see for mounting is to sew the Fishing Buddy holster mount through the side by removing the bladder . |

Other Thoughts: I had great service and delivery from River Bum and they were correct in aleviating my fears of mobility I had before the purchase. |
