Description of the Rio Selective Trout II Double Tapered Floating Fly Line - Lines:

For 2008 RIO has improved the Selective Trout Fly Line by making it softer and more supple. The ultra supple, memory-free coating makes this flyline perform great in cold weather and eliminates memory problems when stripping it off the fly reel. RIO has also added the new Extreme Slickness Technology which creates a super slick, dirt-repelling finish. This along with the AgentX coating makes this high floating fly line incredibly easy to mend and lift quietly off of the water. The Super Floatation Tip floats higher on the water than most other fly lines and is easy to see. DT 1 & 2 only in Camo.

Designed for discerning anglers and technical fishing conditions, this unique Double Tapered Fly Line will perform when presentation is of the utmost importance. The long front taper is ideal for delicate presentations and RIO has slightly increased the weight behind the front taper to easily turnover a longer leader.

	Pros: Nice supple double taper line suited for slow to med slow rods. I purchased the line to fish on a Steffen Bros. fiberglass 3 wt.
	Cons: With the double taper you do not get the integral welded loop as with the WF lines. After a long day on the water the inevitable sinking tip occurs in spite all efforts, superglue, knot sense etc to seal the end.
	Other Thoughts: All in all an adequate line for the right rod.
