Pros: Like most anglers I have been through many brands of waders and with each detail failure I make a mental note to check the details. My G3s resolved many of the details flawlessly. Plenty of extra material and no seams where i tend to wear waders out. |
Cons: Inseam a bit short for long legs, long strides and high knee moves, but I have adapted to the feel. The belt doesn't stay put so plan on making alternate provisions. |
Other Thoughts: Overall worth the investment and certainly worth buying from our pals at RiverBum! |

Pros: Just awesome, I have been promising my-self a set of Simms waders for a few years now!
I am not disapointed, easily the most comfortable set of waders I have ever used for walking in, & a day in the water. |

Pros: comfortable, does what it claims to do, handy pockets, good belt and braces |
Cons: no dry bag or carry bag, handwarmer pockets open very easily i.e cannot store chemical warmer in them without fear of losing it |
Other Thoughts: great waders! a few minor gripes as above but nothing is perfect. i belive you get what you pay for, and so far i feel i have a bargain even though these aren't cheap. i own a number of simms items (vest, sungloves and these waders) and i'd recommend them all
As usual Riverbum were great to deal with |

Pros: THEY SEEM TO BE OK. I LIKE THE HAND WARMERS AND THE 5 LAYERS OF GORTEX IS DURABLE. OVER ALL I HAVE ENJOYED THEM. |
Cons: DON'T HAVE ANY CONS. I DO ALREADY HAVE A LEAK ON THE INSIDE OF MY RIGHT LEG AT MY KNEE, TO PAY 400 FOR A PAIR OF WHAT ARE TO BE THE BEST, IT SEEMS ODD TO ALREADY HAVE THIS HAPPEN. |

Pros: I spent 18 hours Last fall in the water and Simms G3 kept me unbelievably warm and dry. No leaks. One thing I noticed about my G3 is its breathability. It also keeps me warm on fall and cool on summer. The 5 layer Gore-Tex fabric on the legs and the buttocks area were I think placed very strategically, its the area where I have greater chance of snagging. Since I always forget (or misplace) my gravel guards, its a good thing G3 have built-in gravel guards. It also has built-in belt loop, so I wont have to worry loosing a belt ever again. Simms impresses me, they have really thought about all the problems the fisherman might have and made this immaculately perfect wader. |
