Pros: I live in Australia and fish in some pretty rugged country. Definitely the most comfortable waders I've owned in 50+ years of fly fishing.
Cons: I've only had them for a few months, but at this stage I can't fault them.
Other Thoughts: My experience is that the service provided by River Bum to overseas customers is outstanding.

Pros: Very well constructed waders - should be durable and last a long time. Fairly good fit. Zip front for easier "relief" while geared up. Heavier material than some breathable waders - better for cold weather wading.
Cons: Not as comfortable as the thinner material & less expensive SIMMS breathable waders (when I put on my first pair of SIMMS waders about 6 years ago they felt as comfortable as a nice pair of well fitting dress slacks). More difficult to get into than the other SIMMS model, counter intuitive to me - since I would have expected the ZIP front to make this easier. Back loop extremely hard to reach - I feel like I'm doing a Houdini act to reach my Net attached to this loop. This may be due to the very snug fitting shoulder straps that are less stretchy than others. Wader belt is very strange - it is extremely hard to change the fit since the foam belt material over-fills the plastic buckle.
Other Thoughts: Overall - I do like SIMMS waders. This model has some advantages but I probably would not buy this one again.

Pros: And I thought that Simms G3 was the best there is. I retired my G3 wader after almost 3 years of servitude. A few weeks after, after much brooding and long sleepless nights of thinking what could possibly be more amazing than my G3 an answer came to me. A friend recommended what he was using and showed me G4s features. The material is much thicker on the bottom where I usually have my first battle scar. G4 is roomier. The inseams are longer and the hand warmer pockets I have grown to love. The one thing I can say that I truly am very happy about is the waterproof zipper that goes down to the crotch area. If you were to spend precious time in the water, urinating can be a very big production. Now male anglers can just unzip and get back to fishing in a snap! Now I do think this is genius.
Cons: None
