Why do professional guides choose Simms?
Because we take pride in what we make, and products have been designed to go the distance. Our in-house design team has a combined 50 years of experience in making durable technical outerwear. We work closely with top material suppliers from around the globe, and continually test both our new and old products in the lab and out in the field to make sure we meet or exceed your expectations.

Well-made, high-performance waders are among the most important pieces of equipment an angler can own. To ensure maximum performance, every pair of Simms waders is designed, manufactured and tested in Bozeman, Montana. At least 22 different members of our production team are involved in making each pair of waders. And all Simms waders utilized advanced technologies and fabrics, providing the kind of durability, functionality, and comfort that have made them the choice of professional guides.

From the Simms Team
Nothing pleases us more than to see our products, like those on the guides featured in out catalog and on our website, go the distance. "

Me, the water and the fish

Pros: I spend days when I go fishing. Its one of the things my friends and I are most passionate about. We make sure that we have the best equipment, tools, and accessories that our budget can suffice. It’s not that when you have the best stuff, you can be the best fisherman out there. We make sure that the odds would be much better of catching that perfect trout if we were to eliminate the unnecessary problems and conditions we encountered or will encounter. It would be between me, the water and the fish. Most of the time, I spend on foot. So I have to make sure my wader does its job but of course, with a satisfactory price. I own a Simms L2, its been perfect for the 1 year and so. It has snags mostly in the shin area where there is frequent contact with twigs and such. Good thing about this wader is it has built-in gravel guards. The built-in belt loop helps the wader stay in place because there is usually a lot of sitting, standing and bending involved. If I tighten the belt I can remove the straps and wear my wader just up to my waist, perfect for shallow streams and summer heat. All good memories with my L2 wader, but Ive been looking around and Simms might just have surpassed itself...
