Pros: Almost all of my fishing clothing is Simms products. Nothing else comes close in quality. I fish late Fall & Spring steelhead on the Salmon River in upstate New York, you need the best clothing available. These gloves are extremely warm & windproof even if wet, I wouldn't buy anything else.
Cons: NONE
Full and unobstructed use of your fingers

Pros: Gloves, using full-finger gloves creates a somewhat disconnected feeling while the half-finger can give you the full and unobstructed use of your fingers but can obviously leave them cold and numb when wet. Well, its a trade off. Simms should be proud of how close to perfection they have created their products. The glove design with its fleece dries quickly and can keep itself dry and warm provided the glove is not completely soaked. The glove is thin enough to retain the significant feel you want and a pad sewn on the palm to provide a more secure grip. The fingers are left uncovered in order for the angler to use them freely in tying his perfect knots. All in all, Simms Half-Finger gloves is as close to perfection as it can get.
