Smith Warranty a hoax

Pros: Great lenses
Cons: One month after buying the guides choice glasses while taking off the glasses the hinge from one side broke. I sent them in for repair paying the $25 to UPS them. Then I received a call from Smith saying unfortunately the hinge is not covered under the warranty and for just $100 I could get them fixed. I owned them for one month and they want to charge me $100 for a hinge on a $200 pair of glasses. Buy Costas or any other brand.

Pros: I wore these glasses in New Zealand and Mammoth doing sight fishing. They were outstanding! I had no problem with learning sight fishing, and very glad I had my guides choice glasses. They are very comfortable, so much so that I would forget I had them on.
Cons: When I was warm and sweaty, they tended to fog up regularly.
