Description of the Smith Lochsa, Bifocal - Polarized Sunglasses:

There are certain components of a fly anglers gear that are critical, and a good pair of polarized sun glasses is just such an item. Quality is a must here and the Smith Lochsa Polarized Bifocal Sunglasses are a quality investment that if well cared for will give you a lifetime of enjoyment. Not only as eye protection from the suns harmful rays, but to enable the angler to see their fly, and more importantly the fish. A good pair of polarized glasses will in fact make a very big difference in your success on the water. Smith is a long standing name when it comes to quality optics and the Lochsa Polarized Sunglasses have a very-high-contrast, carbonic lens that delivers high clarity in a full spectrum of conditions. The 8-base polarized carbonic lenses provide unparalleled vision through a de-centered lens technology that delivers optically correct vision.

Ready-to-Wear Bifocals A boost for your eyes, these ready-to-wear bifocal models are available in +2.0 or +2.5 power and are a great tool to help thread fine tippet. The magnifying segment is 28 mm wide and placed low on the lens for use only when you really need it.

Visible Light Transmission (VLT) is the percentage of available light allowed to reach the eye. Different lens tints offer specific VLT to enhance vision in different light conditions.
