Description of the Smith Padre, Bifocal - Polarized Sunglasses:

There are certain components of a fly anglers gear that are must have, and a good pair of polarized sun glasses is just such an item. Quality is a must here and the Smith Padre Polarized Bifocal Sunglasses are a quality investment that if well cared for will give you a lifetime of enjoyment. A good pair of polarized glasses will in fact make a very big difference in your success on the water, not only as eye protection from the suns harmful rays, but to enable you to see your fly on the water, and more importantly the fish. The Padre Bifocal is available in +2.0 and +2.5 powers, and two popular lens colors, Copper and Brown. The Padre frame offers a snug secure fit and a complete coverage that will help you spot those big fish.

Ready-to-Wear Bifocals Give your eyes a boost with these ready-to-wear bifocals, available in +2.0 or +2.5 power. Bifocals are a great tool to help you thread and tie fine tippet to small flies. The magnifying segment on the Padre is 28 mm wide and placed low on the lens for use only when you really need it.

Visible Light Transmission (VLT) is the percentage of available light allowed to reach the eye. Different lens tints offer specific VLT to enhance vision in different light conditions.
