Description of the Stillwater Nymph, Peacock-Olive - Fly:
The Peacock Stillwater Nymph Fly is one of the most versatile patterns for stillwater fly fishing. The dyed olive grizzly hackle over a peacock herl body give this fly a realistic irredescent look fish can't pass on. This fly imitates snails, scuds, beetles, mayflies and damsel fly nymphs which make it an extremely effective pattern for any type of water. If it's hard to find what they want try switching to the
Stillwater Nymph and you are almost guaranteed to catch a few fish.

Pros: Well tied fly. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I suspect it will work well in the slow moving inlets/outlets of the small lakes in the Sierras.
