The Adams Trude is a visible fly pattern that will never go out of style. The down wing provides a silhouette that imitates insects like Stoneflies, Caddis and Moths and is easy to see. Trudes work in all types of water but are especially effective in pockets and on small streams. The Adams Trude is a great choice for low light when flies are difficult to see.

Pros: This fly worked excellent in cold water streams with active hits from rainbow,brookies and some large German Browns
Fishing GPX mastery W/ 9' tapered leader in narrow streams and shortly before dusk, excellent strike potential in mid day also
Cons: have not found any.

Pros: Love the visibility of the Adams Trude. This is a great attractor or even works for stoneflies or caddis flies.
