This new jacket goes far beyond just being a convenient way to add a layer between you and the elements. This is the best performing jacket we have ever worn, period. And we went to huge lengths to ensure this was the case.
The Squall is made from ultra supple DuPont Suplex, and a membrane with respiratory qualities, which are second to none. It has been sealed and seamed taped using the finest tapes available and is finished with neoprene cuffs and gaskets to create a truly watertight seal.
The Squall also features another Willy J industry 1st. We have combined breathable nylon with soft shell. This fabric is equally as breathable and waterproof but has a wonderful tendency to stretch, making it perfect for the dynamic parts of the jacket such as underarms and side panels where enhanced movement is necessary.
Soft shell pockets, rain hood (removable) and side panels make the Squall the most comfortable breathable jacket on the market.
